Mould Remover FAQs

What is mildew?

Mildew is another type of mould that can appear in damp areas of your home. The main differences between mould and mildew are that mildew often appears white and remains flat in its growth stage. Mildew can usually be found on fabric and walls but can be removed with our great range of mould removers.

How to get mould out of fabric?

Mould and mildew can spread around our homes and can often spread to fabric, including our clothes. Removing mould from our clothes can be done in a few simple steps:

  1. Remove any excess mould from your clothes under running water
  2. Pre-treat the mould with a laundry detergent solution. Simply mix a cap full or scoop of laundry detergent with water and soak the mould garment.
  3. Wring out the excess water and add your garment to the wash. Ensure to check the washing clothes symbols before washing

For larger fabric household furniture such as sofas, we recommend creating a solution using laundry detergents or one of our mould magic products, if suitable for fabrics to treat the affected area.

How to get rid of mould on walls?

Removing mould from walls does not have to feel daunting. Using one of our many mould spray cleaners and removers makes the job extremely easy.
