Overview

This innovative clothes dryer is a fast and effective way of getting your clothes ready to wear once they’re out of the wash.

The DriBUDDI Elite is JML’s new larger-capacity model which enables you to dry up to 15kg of washing at once, which is the equivalent of 25 clothes or 50 smaller items hung across two rows.

Thanks to its innovative use of warm air circulation, it dries garments quickly but gently, with no shrinkage and far fewer creases than conventional dryers, which also means less ironing! It features a handy, user-friendly timer dial operation which makes it intuitive and convenient to use.

You’ll be able to enjoy the freshly-aired results of an outdoor clothes line, but at a fraction of the cost of a tumble dryer, and with its compact and highly portable design it takes up less space and is easier to move and store.

Providing you with the best of both worlds, the JML DriBUDDI is easy to assemble and also boasts a super-strong, highly durable construction, making it a cost-, time- and space-saving solution that is built to last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Delighted I bought one of these for my Daughter at Uni as she was having trouble drying her clothes, not only did it dry her clothes, it warmed up the room, there was some condensate on the windows but that soon evaporated with the window open. On the strength of that I bought another one this weekend for using at home, drys towels in about 90 minutes, keeps the top of the house warmish (it vents the air out through the 6 outlets in the top) and best of all it's fairly quiet unlike our tumble dryer and no fluff, so the clothes aren't getting damaged.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life Saver No more damp clothes around my flat this winter. Extra warmth in my hallway is an added bonus too. Easy to put together

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My buddi Brought this after reading the reviews and boy they are all true. With a house of five I have no more washing on the radiators. Hang it in dribuddie switch on and job done. Great purchase. I removed the middle hanger rail as we are all tall so T-shirts we’re getting creased at bottom but all sorted now

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Dri Buddi is great! It is like a small wardrobe with a powerful hairdryer in the base to heat it up. Fits very neatly into my spare bedroom / laundry room and is great for drying clothes on days when the weather is not so good for drying outside. If you are hanging up a lot of items it takes longer, but is efficient. I would advise putting a moisture absorber nearby in the room as I assume it generates a fair amount of moisture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product I love, love, love my dri buddie elite. I'm not a fan of tumble dryers so a friend recommended it to me and it's perfect just hang the clothes on the hangers switch on and let it do it's thing and as things are on hangers it cuts down on the creases great because I hate ironing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product! Just what I needed! Does the job, no condensation and it gives me little or no ironing to do.Thanks for the quick delivery service. I'll buy this product again and definitely from Robert Dyas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product The airer dries clothes well and quickly. It is sturdy and can hold a fair amount of washing. It's not the most attractive product, but does the job well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Dri Buddi Elite This is my 3rd Dri Buddi over the years and I must say I love it. They are easy to assemble, dry quickly and provide heat as well so great during winter. Only negative is there is no way to buy a warranty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rain No worries I bought this for my Grandson at University it is a life saver, no worries about getting garments dried quickly and it doesn't matter if it rains, as this dryer is so efficient . It also warms his room whilst drying the clothes. He wouldn't be without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dryer Bought this to replace my broken dryer and much prefer it , can dry about 18 adult items in about 90 minutes and a lot less creasing. Cheaper on electric and not noisy. The poles that make up the unit could be a bit more sturdier especially if you want to wheel it about but I have put it in a large cupboard and just leave the door open while it’s in use . Very happy not to have washing drying on radiators and clothes airer during winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Such a time saver... Since I’ve bought this item I’ve saved a fortune on my energy bills, no longer do I need to use my tumblr dryer. The only downside to this product is that the poles are quite flimsy and sometimes will fall apart when moving the unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't pay full price I am happy with the Dribuddy but it is very flimsy for the price and comes apart if I so much as look at it. The motor changes pitch at times but seems to work ok. I would never leave it unattended when in use and it is rather big.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy at particular times Great addition to the laundry. Good as long as you don't pack it too closely. I took out the middle rungs so things could hand down from hangers. Fab the other day when emergency shirts were needed. Washed and dried quickly. Takes up a bit of space but we have it in a spare room. Makes the room lovely and warm when it's on. Zips work well. Glad I have it :-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Affordable clothes drying Bought as a replacement for the smaller DriBuddi which we had for many years. This is the larger model and is easier to load due to the full length and full width zips. Fairly easy to put together but an extra pair of hands is useful. Drying times are faster than the smaller model. However, there is a fairly major fault as the motor with the control is underneath the floor of the unit and difficult to access.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can’t live without one This is our third one - the only downside is that none of them have lasted much beyond the warranty but we do have it one most days

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lifesaver I bought a DriBuddi after Christmas and it was a lifesaver, no more washing drying everywhere, no more condensation, a good price and hopefully not expensive to run

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It does the job. I bought this so I didnt use the radiators to dry washing. It took me a while to assemble because you have to push in the pieces and the frame kept collapsing. When I came to putting in the motor there was a piece missing. I spoke to the Customer Services who were very helpful. The motor still worked so I didnt bother returning it. Because of the steam it generates it needs to be used in a room with open windows. A couple of days later it was £20 cheaper in the sale!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Fan broke within 6 months of use. Poor quality. Not recommended.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely Unimpressed I bought this product through Robert Dyas in November 2018. One of the castors never fitted properly and I should have sent the whole thing back. The castor constantly fell off causing the whole frame to wobble and fall apart. The frame is very flimsy and cheap. Four months after the warranty ran out the fan has stopped working on the heater making it very ineffective. I contacted JML and Robert Dyas and neither of them wanted to know. I offered to buy a part but both of them said No. I guess the whole thing is destined for landfill. It was a complete waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flimsy and not good quality I bought this earlier this month and it last a week before the flimsy bars which hold a cheap air heater broke. There are only six bars to hang clothes on so hangers are essential. Those bars are plastic and wobble to and fro immediately. The cover doesn’t come on and off easily. Hugely disappointing. I’d be surprised if the net cost of making this came to ten pounds - it’s not worth it at the sale price and certainly not full price. One plus side was that while it lasted, the drying time was pretty fast - within a couple of hours and things didn’t need ironing. I think there are far more superior products on the market for a few extra pounds. Or just buy a not heated one and blow your hairdryer at it!
