The 5m x 3m Retreat Log Cabin is a stylish and elegant garden building that would complement any style of garden and is ideal for those looking to add living or entertaining space to their home. The building features a large, extended roof overhang, which provides a sheltered area for outdoor seating, as well as weather protection for the doors.
This means you can be confident in keeping the doors open even during a British summer. Fronted with two large windows and half glazed double doors, this cabin has a bright and airy interior to enjoy. The windows and doors are supplied with double glazing, ensuring you benefit from the maximum heat retention and noise reduction. We supply all of our log cabins with a secure mortise lock and key, so you can be confident in the security of your new garden building. We manufacture this log cabin using high quality, 44mm thick, Baltic timber log boards. The boards interlock to form an extremely robust and rigid structure, while forming a tight seal against water ingress and draughts. The solid boards offer inherent heat-retaining qualities, meaning you can use this cabin all year around!
The roof and floor are constructed using tongue and groove boards that interlock to form a hard-wearing and heavy-duty finish, perfect for frequently used buildings and heavy furniture. The roof is covered with high-quality roofing felt as standard, to give your building further protection from the weather. All of our log cabins are made using only ethically sourced, timber and are all made here in the UK by our highly skilled team.
Our cabins are supplied un-treated and will require a coat of high-quality timber treatment shortly after construction. The log cabin will be delivered in individual tongue and groove timber lengths and should be constructed on a firm and level base.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
Mercia's aim is to make your installation experience as easy as possible, with minimal disruption as possible to your normal routine. To enable this their garden building installation service is as follows...
Once your order has been processed Mercia will send you an email to confirm your order and all the necessary information to ensure your garden is suitable and prepared for installation. It's vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto.
Once evidence has been provided of your firm, level base, our friendly customer service team will call you to book in a delivery and installation date that suits you. This will typically be the same day, however, for some buildings it may be different days.
On the day of delivery, we will send you a text to confirm your two-hour delivery slot and a link to the delivery portal, where you will be able to track the exact location of the driver.
Your new garden building will be delivered on a flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building into the installation position.
The team will then install your new building as per the product instructions. Once completed, the team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

Whilst we do all that we can to prevent this, from time to time, orders can experience slight delays in courier networks. Due to this, we would strongly advise against pre-booking/making payment for third party trades to build/install your item until you are in receipt of and have inspected the goods. Robert Dyas is unable to compensate for any loss of funds to third party organisations.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
You may not cancel orders for the following types of products:
- Electrical/Technical products which have been unsealed
- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
