Mercia's aim is to make your installation experience as easy as possible, with minimal disruption as possible to your normal routine. To enable this their garden building installation service is as follows...
Once your order has been processed Mercia will send you an email to confirm your order and all the necessary information to ensure your garden is suitable and prepared for installation. It's vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto.
Once evidence has been provided of your firm, level base, our friendly customer service team will call you to book in a delivery and installation date that suits you. This will typically be the same day, however, for some buildings it may be different days.
On the day of delivery, we will send you a text to confirm your two-hour delivery slot and a link to the delivery portal, where you will be able to track the exact location of the driver.
Your new garden building will be delivered on a flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building into the installation position.
The team will then install your new building as per the product instructions. Once completed, the team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

Nice Size, Easy to Put Together.
This summerhouse was delivered in quick fashion in regards to the current pandemic. The delivery driver was helpful. I was able to put this together with help of other household members in a day and a half (would of been a day if on a summer days). Its sturdy, looks good and im happy with it.

Good value summerhouse
I bought this last month. It basically took about 7 hours to put together. The bifold doors and the roof were the most difficult parts.
Highly recommend you paint before erecting as it’s really fiddly once up especialy the roof.
Note this is not predrilled so you either need a very good hammer driver or a drill. The quality of the wood is good. The only issue we have is the floor is a bit wonky but we’re going to add a laminate floor so that should help
The bifold doors are great
We add a few extra wood strips over the bifold to stop drafts as there is quite a gap between each pain. We’re also adding draft excluder around the door frame

Worth the money
When it arrived I thought it looked a bit smaller than anticipated, however once fully erected it really is spacious thanks to the apex roof. Quality was a bit poor in some areas and had to trim the base as the t&g flooring was unevenly fitted. But realistically it’s a shed with doors and windows so what would you expect for the price, seen far worse that costs double! Had it up in 2 hours start to almost finish less the decorate trim, although I did have help to build it with a joiner mate! Some of the instructions aren’t too clear and thanks for putting all the different size screws in the same bag! Otherwise I would have given it 5 instead of 4.

I dont agree with below comment, every shed is going to have defects. Ours did but went together great, except from a lil crack in the door glass, its completely fine, does take sometime putting up and the doors can be a struggle but we lovee itt.

Poorly made
I bought this a month ago but had to wait for my son to help erect it, he's a carpenter. We've just started to put it all together but I'm very dissapointed with the workmanship of it. As I said luckily my son is a carpenter and he is going to have to do a lot of work as the roof sags because of the middle piece of wood. The front side panels do not marry up either. In our opinion it is very poorly put together. I was so excited to get this as we are turning it into a bar, but wish now had looked around. Thank goodness for my son who may be able to fix things. The instructions are rubbish too he said.

Terrible - don't buy!
This was impossible to fit together and the quality is poor with wonky warped wood and the doors are not straight, leaving gaps all ove the place. I have fit together a number of sheds and summerhouses over the years. Never have I ever come across such poor quality wood that the pieces don't ever join together. I had to buy extra wood to block up the gaps in the walls and roof. This cost me a couple of hundred pound extra.
I got in touch with Robert Dyas who told me to go directly to the supplier. The supplier was rude and blamed me for not treating the wood. I said the problem was not untreated wood. I said it was a problem from the moment of unpacking and trying to piece it together. None of the pieces joined together. The person handling my complaint simply couldn't understand that I wasn't going to treat the wood before putting it together! They simply had no clue and kept fobbing me off, and in the end, I've got a poor quality product with no resolution. Poor, poor product from Mercia and no resolution. So coupled with their poor product is their poor attitude to ensuring a good customer experience.
I don't think any retailer should stock this product. I wouldn't ever recommend it and would strongly advise against anyone considering to buy. You can get far superior quality elsewhere for a better price.
I don't normally write reviews but feel I have to on this occasion because of how poor this quality is and how badly I've heen treated as a consumer of this product. Such a poor experience. Never again. Please let this be a warning to anyone out there looking to buy. Please go for something not Mercia branded.

Poor quality overall not worth it.
I bought this during lockdown and was unable to build until now. Quality is so poor. Many holes in wall doors don’t fit. Window not fully fitted. I feel so disappointed. I see positive reviews and I can only assume you got a good one. Honestly please don’t waste your money.

Terrible product!
Good afternoon after just having your product delivered l instructed a joiner to build it for after completion the product is very week on its own and the roof lining blew off in the wind the first l have been advised by a professional builder that products off this nature normally of a 50mm base material l round your product is only 20mm and soft wood not fit for purpose! I want to speak with customer services about returning the product!

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
