Very happy with it!
We use it for the our day out and it is made with good resistant materials and the plates are real China and not plastic. The glasses as well are not plastic cheap ones but real glass

I do not understand why you have pottery plates and glasses [breakable) rather than melamine or recycled plastic. It’s heavy before you put anything in it.

Nice plates, glasses and cutlery set, poor quality basket, 1st time I used it handle fell off, only fixed by split pins, weak hinge on lid flops everywhere, straps keeping cutlery not tight enough which means cutlery drops on the glasses.

Poor Quality Picnic Hamper
I bought this over a month ago it looks very nice but is quite small I couldn’t fit my picnic in it so I just used it for snack, I was very disappointed to find that the handle broke almost immediately and I have been trying to return it since then, the communication with customer services is very poor.

Such a shame, looks good but no where near delivers.
Was a special gift and I'm so embarrassed. There was nothing in the hamper, apart from the plates, glasses, cutlery. Picked up by the carry handle and the handle fell off and the hamper fell to the ground. Luckily nothing broke. To top it off the glass holder inside has come away too. Didn't even get to use it. Wouldn't be surprised if was able to use the whole thing would fall apart.
Save your money don't buy this shoddy hamper.

Not fit for purpose
Very poor indeed. I bought this as a gift for my niece just a few weeks ago and it broke the first time she used it. She put very little in it - just biscuits and crisps - but the straps are not securely affixed to the basket so it just came apart. Very disappointing because it can’t even take the weight of a very light picnic. Nice to look at but utterly useless!

The rating is more about the service from Robert Dyas but the quality of the product was poor. It was scuffed in quite a few areas and the stiching was awful.

Poor
I purched this for a picnic at Hampton Court unfortunatly it started falling apart
The handle gave way
, if I have used the glasses supplied with the product I would have had glass shades in the food etc
RE turned and reported the product
Trading standards would deem it not fit for purpose
Please do not buy this product it should be taken of sale
I'm still awaiting a reply from the quality dept
If I don't I will have to report it to trading standards myself
Extreamly poor fastenings within the product handle etc

Awful Product. Bad design, Bad quality fastenings.
Absolutely awful product. It is as if the designers deliberately decided to enter a Bad Hamper design competition. Hamper does not close with all the cutlery and glasses in their correct places...ie.The wine glasses will be hit and possibly crushed by the white plastic handels of the cutlery. The Handel of the Hamper is held on by actual sharp metal fold back PAPER FASTENERS..yes really..try carrying this with anything inside it to the park and it WILL break and smash. The sharp metal paper fasteners that attempt to secure many elements of this hamper poke through the very thin white material lining and will scratch and cut your hands when you put them in the hamper as they lie in wait hidden between the white lining and the wicker. The bottle opener included with a hamper that contains 4 small WINE glasses is...A BEER bottle opener! Obviously the 5 star reviews are fake so go to the Robert Dyas shop and see just how right I am before you even think about buying this product. You will notice that they do NOT fasten the cutlery and glasses in the correct positions...I think they already knew it was bad when they tried it once so they are trying to palm this Hamper off as quickly as possible. Not fit for purpose. Will cause more trouble than it's worth. Do NOT buy.

I bought this a few weeks ago but have been disappointed with the quality of the item. Firstly the space for the bottle opener has broken and some of the items are very poorly finished. To top it all it has now been reduced!

Did click and collect from store and while walking back to the car Park the handle pulled away from the Basket. On further examination the Basket is of very poor quality and not worth the money

Absolute rubbish
I bought this a while back and as soon as I opened it there was a chain missing on the lid so it isn’t stable. Robert days customer service was useless offering me a measly 10% off next purchase. What kind of customer service does that for selling a faulty item. I needed it the next day so wasn’t able to return it. Used it yesterday for the second time and the handle broke off when I took it out the car. It’s made so cheaply and useless. Not happy at all

I had a lot of trouble when ordering this hamper and on first use it broke... I had the item collected 2 weeks ago and I’ve had no update on what’s going on and when I should received my refund even though I have emailed several times!! First shopping experience with Robert Dyas and I can’t say I’m very impressed!
