The new Sear and Stew slow cooker by Morphy Richards features a hob proof cooking pot, meaning you can sear and slow cook from start to finish in one cooking pot making the slow cooking process even more efficient.
It is really quick and easy to create a nutritious family meal from scratch with Sear and Stew. Firstly sear some meat within the hob proof cooking pot, then add vegetables and stock into the same pot and place the cooking pot into the slow cooker. The juices and flavours from the meat combine with the rest of the ingredients creating a richer, fuller taste.
Once your pot is in the slow cooker base simply select either the high or low cooking setting, and you will have a delicious casserole, chili, curry or a multitude of other family favourites. Sear and Stew will cook your meal whilst you are out and about and have it ready and waiting for when you return home. If however you are delayed, you don’t have to worry your meal will be ruined as Sear and Stew will automatically switch to a two hour keep warm to keep your meal at the right temperature and tasting great.
With a transparent toughened glass lid you can monitor your cooking progress without disturbing its cooking process, and unlike ceramic cooking pots the Sear and Stew hob proof cooking pot is extremely light and durable making it easy to take to the table and serve directly from.
Its shatterproof qualities also mean if you knock it on the worktop or drop it on the floor, it won’t crack or shatter like standard ceramic slow cookers. When you have finished your meal washing up is a doddle too.
The Sear and Stew cooking pot features a non-stick coating and can also go straight into the dishwasher. Settings: Low/High/Keep Warm Keep warm Sear & Stew will switch to an automatic 2 hour keep warm when the cooking process has ended, perfect if you are delayed on your return home or fancy eating later than you had originally planned. This ensures that your meal is ready at the time you require - the recipes within your instruction booklet give you a guide so no more guessing.

Perfect for a working person!
this is wonderful. Go to work, and when you get home you have a hot meal waiting for you. Chicken stew, beef casserole...anything you fancy in a pot!

Lightweight and easy to clean
It made a lovely sausage casserole tonight! It's very practical to saute everything in the pot first. Mine is the same one as in the picture and does not have the High/Low/Keep Warm settings as mentioned in the text

Great cooker, simple to use
I bought this for a party the day before, so I could cook a curry and leave it, turns out it was the best curry they have ever had, and its all down to this slow cooker. Great product, low price, easy to use and clean. Not too bulky to store in the cupboard.

Reliable & unbreakable!
We bought this to replace our Daughter's slow cooker, which became pretty useless when in a recent move, the dish got broken. I chose this as it has an unbreakable inner, so no recurrence possible and it has all the features we wanted. Great colour finishes the story, and we are happy with our cooker.

I have been so impressed with my purchase.Should have bought one years ago!
I am a carer and quite often get in late then have to start cooking for myself,which has often meant can't be bothered!!
Since making my purchase I have been eating good hearty meals.
I love that everything can be done all in the one pot,which I prepare before going to work,and can choose a 4hour or 8hour slow cook.
A good feature of this pot is the food is kept warm after the food is cooked,and does not burn.
I shopped around for this product and found Robert Dyas selling it for the cheapest price.

Lightweight good looking slow cooker
I bought this cooker for my mum. She loves it! She loves the colour, the fact you use the pan to sear the meat then pop it in the cooker, keeping all the flavours in. It's nice and lightweight too. A good product at a good price.
