Mr Fothergill’s flower and vegetable seeds are perfect for adding a splash of colour and natural beauty to your garden or outside space.
Whether you’re looking for an addition to your window box, some vegetation for your flower bed or a bit of colour for your windowsill, Mr Fothergill’s range of seed will have something for you.
Leek Lyon 2 (Prizetaker) (Allium porrum) is an excellent early cropping variety of leek. Long, thick white shanks with a mild flavour provide a good source of vitamin C, folate and iron. Bred especially for show worth vegetables.
You can harvest these plants from September to December. They thrive best in partial sunlight and like well-cultivated and fertile soil for maximum growth.
