Designed for easy self-assembly, the Power Timber Decking Kit with handrails on 2 sides is made from the finest high-grade timber grown in the forests of Scandinavia. All the timber provided has been pressure treated providing a longer lifespan and resistance against timber rot.

- 85mm x 85mm Patrice Newel Posts - Any decking kit with handrails will come with extra thick 85mm x 85mm Patrice Newel Posts – which are designed to be bolted to the base rails with 150mm domed head carriage bolts. Each Newel Post is tanalised for longer life expectancy. The wood has a smooth finish all round to give a great look to the decking. The decking Newel Posts are used as uprights in the decking system to support the handrail.
- Contemporary Handrails - Kiln-dried, slow-grown, Scandinavian balustrade with pressure-treated spindles. Handrails are pre-assembled to make assembly as easy as possible.
- 95mm x 44mm Tanalised Base Rails - The decking base arrives in modular sections, pre-assembled for further installation ease. The base is pressure treated giving the decking kit a good foundation and ensuring longevity, weather resistance and anti-rot protection.

Scandanavian Timber
We source only the finest high-grade timber available, suitable for wooden decking. The timber is specially and responsibly imported from forests in Scandinavia in line with our sustainability policy. We select slow-grown timber which means the timber is stronger and resistant to warping.
28mm x 120mm Decking Boards
Our premium 28mm x 120mm decking boards are made from high-quality slow-grown Scandinavian timber. The board has a reversible dual profile giving you the choice of two attractive finishes – either the standard decking profile on one side or planed smooth decking on the other.
Specialist Green Decking Screws Included
This kit will come with green decking screws to secure the boards to the pre-assembled decking base. The green screw is ideal to colour-match the boards to the fixings and they have a countersunk head to provide a flush finish.
Decking Cover Boards
We also provide additional boards to cover two sides of the decking. They are designed to simply screw to the edge of the decking to complete the unit and create a finished look for the decking kit.
Easy Assembly
This is easy-to-assemble – the base comes in preassembled, modular sections and just needs screwing together. Full instructions are provided, and you just need your basic DIY tools to build – a drill/electric screwdriver, saw and spirit level.

Delivery
- You can select your own delivery date which you choose in the checkout process on the page after you enter your address.
- Standard delivery is between 8am and 6pm – you may receive a text on the day of delivery to advise a two-hour arrival time slot with a link to track the order.
- Delivery is kerbside only. Any request to take the goods further cannot be guaranteed and will be at the discretion of the driver on the day.
- The driver will have a Tail Lift to unload the goods. The driver will have a pump truck/hand trolley to manoeuvre the pallet. How far they can move the pallet is at the driver's discretion and will depend on access e.g. The driver cannot move the trolley over gravel, grass, up/down steps etc.
- The driver cannot assist with unpacking and moving individual components from the pallet.

Is the Power Timber Decking Kit a suitable base for my Power Shed?
You can place a shed on your Power Decking Kit, providing that this has been fully prepared and is properly treated in advance. Make sure your Decking Kit is completely level! This would then complete your space by giving you a perfect storage area for your deck furniture and other garden items. However, this would not be a suitable base for a log cabin.

Can I create a larger deck by attaching multiple Power Timber Decking Kits together?
It is possible to attach multiple Power Timber Decking Kits together and we have made this as simple as we can. Once you have created your base frames, you simply butt the frames up to each other to the floorplan you require and screw these together using the 70mm wood screws provided.

How are the Power Sheds Timber Decking Kits delivered?
All our Power Sheds Decking Kits will be delivered via a third-party courier who offer a kerbside, palletised delivery service. the pallet dimensions will be approx. 1.2m x 1.2m and can be up to 2.2m high. Depending on the size of the Power Decking Kits purchased, this will be delivered on 1, 2, or 3 pallets.
The size of the vehicle used as standard is either 18t/26t. Delivery can take place using a 7.5t/12t vehicle if requested. Delivery is kerbside only, anything further than this would need to be discussed with the driver on the day and is ultimately down to their discretion.
You may receive an ETA on the day, however as this is a third-party courier this is not something we can guarantee. All deliveries take place between 8.00am and 6.00pm and we are not able to influence this.
How do I maintain my Power Timber Decking?
Decking is a beautiful asset to any garden and does require a certain level of all year-round maintenance to keep it looking at its best. The easiest way to keep it looking good is to make sure that the Power Decking is swept regularly to keep it debris free. As with all outdoor timber it is always good practice to treat and maintain the wood annually to keep it supple and prevent any shrinking/damage occurring. We would also suggest that you take this opportunity to give the deck a quick clean down prior to re treatment, so that you are starting the next year with clean and freshly treated decking.
How long does a Power Decking Kit take to install?
This would depend on the level of DIY skill and the preparation already completed on the ground the decking will sit on. However, as a rough estimate, we would suggest for one of our 10×8 Power Timber Decking kits, being laid on pre-prepared ground with 2 novice DIY-ers to take approximately half a day.
What size Power Timber Decking Kit will I need?
The size of Power Timber Decking Kit you require depends on the space you have available. We recommend leaving a gap of approximately 2 feet around the perimeter of the decking, to allow adequate space for annual retreatment. The decking sizes are fully modular meaning you are free to create a deck as large as you want.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
