Smart Design With Good Capacity

Fast boiling and efficient

It boils quietly and the heat when it has boiled is amazing I could not believe how quick it took to boil, my cup of coffee was hot for a long while before it cooled down. The colour is a major winning point it matched my kitchen set. I previously had a kettle from the range an that got thrown out as soon as I used this an seen how much better my coffees/teas were!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kettle from Russell Hobbs is brilliant . First of all it looks simple yet stylish . Is looks and feels durable and hardwearing. It has a swivel base so can be used if you are with left or right handed . The lid is easy to open and easy to fill with the tap or water jug . Inside the kettle there are these paddle type things which is what I believe indicates to the kettle how much eater you have put in and thus how long it takes to boil . I think this is very clever , it boils water really quickly especially if you only put one or two cups worth of water into the kettle which makes it energy efficient and quick .

Surprisingly light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so surprised at how light the kettle is and how easy it is to hold and lift. I live that it is cream, a natural colour and will go with most kitchen decor, including mine.
It has fast boil technology and I can agree with this as it boils a lot faster that my current kettle.
In this day and age, anything that saves energy to reduce energy costs, is always a bonus.
As you can see from the picture, the spout is a great shape, to ensure accuracy when pouring.
Overall, extremely satisfied with this and would recommend this kettle.

Great quality
I have had this kettle for five years now and it still works just as perfectly as when I first bought it (I use it at leat 6 times a day). No scale at all, brilliantly easy to pour, and very quick to boil. Some of my friends have had three kettles during this time compared to my one - so I'd also say it is great value for money.

Great kettle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of this kettle and it looks good in my kitchen - very sleek. It is lighter and easier to hold than my previous kettle due to the smooth handle. It says that it's fast to boil one cup although I didn't find it any quicker than my previous kettle, i did find it noisier than my previous kettle. The lead is quite short to plug it in but this wasn't an issue for me. I found it very hard to see how much water I was putting in due to the location of the water gauge behind the handle. The easy pour function is great! Overall I rate it 4 stars due to the look of the kettle, the easy pour and comfort in holding the kettle.

It is a great smaller size, so easy to pick up even when it's full.
It loses one star only because it's quite loud while it's boiling, but it does boil very quickly so it's not the end of the world!

The only thing I’d change is I want a button that pops the lid open. It’s a bit annoying to have to manually open the lid especially if you want to add more water to boil again

Love the desing, but Boiled water in this kettle tastes awful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is simple yet modern and solid design kettle which would suite any kitchen design. Love the elegant neutral cream colour.
It is made of stainless steal which is great for easy cleaning and is durable material.
It boils water fast, is not noisy while boiling.
It has got a nice rapid pour and comfortable handling, also I like that it’s not too heavy to hold.
I like that there are water level measurements inside the kettle for cup count.
I rate this product with two stars because there are some cons for this product:
this kettle doesn’t have an automatic lid opener, which is a great feature for kettle.
The water level window is just behind/below the handle, I prefer it to be on the side for easier reading.
The boiled water has got some kind of plastic taste and smell, which hopefully will go away.
