Sabatier trompette bread knife
I bought this a month ago. I thought my old bread knife just adequate but when I tried the new one, I couldn't believe the difference. It is very sharp and cuts through all crusts easily.
It doesn't tear or squash the bread and produces an accurate slice right through.
In my opinion "it is the best thing since sliced bread" I will buy another one for my daughter, it is so good.

Solid and sharp
I bought this a while ago because my 30 year old bread knife wouldn't cut through crust any longer. The sabatier Richardson knife is solid and well balanced. It's very sharp. Needed some getting used to because I would cut at an angle, but with practice I managed to overcome that problem. Very good value for money
