Compact and practical, the Salter Arc Platform Scale takes the hassle out of measuring.
The Add & Weigh ‘zero’ function allows you to measure multiple ingredients in the same bowl, as well as easily removing the weight of the bowl itself, for precise mixing.
The scale is suitable for most containers, so you can either weigh in a receptacle of your choice or place food directly on to the platform, giving you maximum flexibility during the prep process.
The large, clear LCD display is easy to read and can be switched between metric and imperial units depending on your preference, while the slim design and easy-to-clean ABS platform make it simple to store and maintain for future use.

An absolute must for every home.

Simple to use, good quality.
Excellent size, clear easy to read display. Seems very accurate, using every day to weigh out the cat’s biscuit quota, as he is too fat and on a strict diet - he’s not happy! But I am very pleased with purchase. Also scales can be stood on their edge for easy storage.

Just what was wanted
Only real niggle is that you should warn purchasers in advance that they will need a tiny Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment to remove the isolator tab in order to be able to use the scales

This is a very handy product, extremely portable and accurate. My only criticism is that if you weigh something and then lift it off and put it back on in a different place on the scale it sometimes gives a different reading, but only by a few grams, so it is not a massive issue and certainly wouldn't stop me from recommending it to other people who are looking to buy a good set of scales.

So easy to use!

Lovely convenient product
I bought this just before Christmas. It was to replace an old sprung balance scale which I had been happy with for many years until one day I dropped it and it broke. I had to buy this instead, without enthusiasm. But I am delighted. The convenience of being able to use any suitable receptacle is great. And the accurate weighing means it is also very useful as a postal scale.

Simple and effective
Neat, unobtrusive and very good value compared with products at more than twice the price. Version available in-store is also more decorative than this plain example. Offset display means that you can read easily even when there is a bowl or dish on the scale - simple feature but shows good design.

Great kitchen scales
I got this kitchen scales about a month ago and I’m really happy with it. I like that you can put your own bowl / container on it and zero the scale. Also that you can add to it and zero each time. Easy to use. Slimline and tidy to store. Great purchase.

Solid scales

Nice and slim to store, nice and simple to use.

Robert Dyas offers a FREE Click and Collect service to Robert Dyas stores.
If you choose to have your order delivered to your local store, it is completely free and will be delivered within 5 working days (excluding Bank Holidays).
When your order arrives in your chosen store, we will e-mail you to advise that your order is ready for collection. Your order will be held in store for 7 days.
Standard Delivery
We aim to deliver items that are currently in stock in 3 to 5 working days (excluding Bank Holidays) after the date the order is placed.
Unfortunately at this time we cannot take orders for delivery to British Forces Post Offices (BFPO), Northern Ireland, Freight Forwarders, international addresses or The Channel Islands (GY, JE).

You can also select a convenient day to receive your delivery by choosing a named day delivery (delivery on working days only).

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
You may not cancel orders for the following types of products:
- Electrical/Technical products which have been unsealed
- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by one of the following methods:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
2. Visit Your Local Robert Dyas Store
Whether you bought the product in store, online or over the phone, most of our products can be returned to a Robert Dyas stores. Please bring your order confirmation as proof of purchase. Please do not attempt to return large or heavy products, including large kitchen appliances, outdoor furniture, indoor furniture etc to your local store. If in doubt of whether you should return a product to your local store, please contact customer services first.
