So simple to use!
I brought this a month ago, and I love it! I love sparking water so much, so don’t know why I didn’t invest sooner. I also wasn’t aware of the amount of different syrups available. Definitely recommend!

Should have bought this a long time ago
Having spent a small fortune on sparkling water over Christmas, and generated a huge amount of plastic waste, I thought I would try a Sodastream. The sale price made it a more attractive proposition, as well as the gas exchange offered by Sodastream. What's not to like? Sparkling water (literally) on tap at a fraction of the bottled price and no plastic bottles.

Sparkling water with no single use plastics!!
As a family we had a Sodastream when in the 89s and I loved it. Flash forward and they’re back, and just as amazing as ever. Not only do they give you sparking water with delicate small bubbles (that do not lack in fizz at all for their small size) but you don’t have to spend extra on sparking water in glass bottles to avoid single use plastics.
No electricity needed, it’s all gas and mechanics
No single use plastic
Gas cylinders are returnable and refillable (Sodastream do a refill service)
Solid construction that [looks like] it will last (I’ve only had mine a month yet!)
I love mine and won’t be going back to buying sparkling water.

Great item, good for the environment
We have had this item for over a year and use it every day, we would not go back to buying carbonated water because of the plastics involved. Overall the Sodastream is great but could be a little more robust

Just what I've been looking for!
My wife bought this for me for Christmas. I don't drink tea or coffee so, other than some milk on my breakfast and some tomato juice, all I drink is sparkling water! I have become increasingly conscious of the amount of plastic consumed (when supermarkets have the product, which has been a real problem in recent times). This device just does the job for me. The only down side I have encountered is the additional bottles I bought (I need spares given the amount I consume) don't fit the device very well!!

Makes flat water gassy and v. exciting!
How did I used to manage, drinking boring old flat water? What was I thinking? Now, thanks to this marvellous machine, I can drink exciting, lively water with gassy bubbles of greenhouse gas carbon dioxide in it. So I'm saving the planet too (temporarily - until I burp it all out again).
Anyway, it's plasticy but looks nice and works. Replacement for old one which was also plasticy and worked right up until the point that it broke.

Disappointing
Broke on it’s second usage. Robert Dyas replaced it with a minimum of fuss but £59.99 buys one a £22 gas canister, a couple of valves and a plastic gas canister cover that cannot cost more than €10 to manufacture.
