Why Choose Char-Broil?

Whether you are a beginner or barbecue expert, Char-Broil is the brand to use for quality, style and long-lasting excellence. Char-Broil BBQs come with grill plates made from cast iron to give you that essential even heat distribution you need to cook your favourite meat thoroughly. This will help to grill chicken, beef, lamb and more carefully all the way through so that they are scrumptious and safe to eat. You can easily clean these grill plates after each use to keep your barbecue ready for use at any time, knowing that they are durable and rustproof to last. One way to keep it lasting long-term is to protect it with a  BBQ cover and this helps to store it nicely in your garden too. Enjoy a great summer barbecue with Char-Broil with their first-class design and top quality build that you really cannot get anywhere else!

Once you’ve decided that Char-Broil is right for you, it’s important to learn how to season your grill before its first use and each use since then. It’s simple to follow these steps and will make your grill easier to clean as well as preventing rust for your benefit too. Firstly, whilst the grill is off and the grates are cold, you should coat all of the surfaces with a high heat cooking oil of your choice, such as peanut oil. Then wipe off extra oil with a kitchen paper towel, leaving a thin layer of oil that evenly coats the grates. After this, ignite the grill and heat for 16 minutes until the oil burns off clearly and the grates may begin to smoke. The shiny finish should turn dark brown or bronze and the more seasoned your grates are; the more evenly they will cook your food. Finally, once the grill has cooled then apply a light coat of oil after each use to help prevent rusting. It’s a great idea to season your grill’s grates before and after each use to keep them in their best condition.
