A fan of the fan
When it comes to fans, I'm a fan of this fan, and I guess this makes this fan a celebrity of sorts. In our family, on a hot sweltering day, this fan is the star of the show and takes centre stage keeping us cool and relaxed. I thus award 5 stars to this stalwart and trusty helper who really moves the air around when you need it most.

Perfect! But a self-assembly fan?!
I bought this fan in store yesterday as the one on display was very quiet. A simple operation and the price is very reasonable. But I didn't realise until I got home that this fan is self-assembly! Well, I never bought a self-assembly fan before. Thought these things were all ready made. It's a bit disconcerting to build an electrical goods like a fan. That said, it is quite simple to assemble by following the instruction. But there are a few
tiny screws included so be careful not to lose them when unpack the box. The carry handle is useless as it's completely flat on the mesh casing. You have to use your finger tips or just carry by the stand. The blade is made of rather cheap plastic but the breeze is powerful. Just the job! Would recommend if you want a simple value for money fan.

Great fan at a great price
Bought the desk fan & the standing fan today. Had to ask my son to help me put them together but absolutely love it. Fits perfectly next to my bed & on my desk & is pretty powerful.

They're fiddly to build, every part comes separately wrapped in plastic, but they are effective and sturdy enough for the task.

Parts missing
Bought two fans. One had the securing nut and bolt missing. The other had the four base screws missing so had to put just 2 securing screws into the base of each. One also came with wall plugs and screws even though it wasn't supposed to. Fans work fine but they should turn up ready to use not expect us to assemble them. Couldn't even get a vat receipt for business either.

I bought it a month ago and i notice from the 2nd week I kinda hear something (very minimal) , air coming out was very weak... but i can still tolerate it, but as time goes by it gets worse its like there’s a friction inside. I cant return it since i alredy throw the receipt since i fully trust the store that it will be perfect for me for this bad weather...

If you choose to have your order delivered to your local store, it is completely free and will be delivered within 5 working days (excluding Bank Holidays).
When your order arrives in your chosen store, we will e-mail you to advise that your order is ready for collection. Your order will be held in store for 7 days.

We aim to deliver items that are currently in stock in 3 to 5 working days (excluding Bank Holidays) after the date the order is placed.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
You may not cancel orders for the following types of products:
- Electrical/Technical products which have been unsealed
- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by one of the following methods:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
2. Visit Your Local Robert Dyas Store
Whether you bought the product in store, online or over the phone, most of our products can be returned to a Robert Dyas stores. Please bring your order confirmation as proof of purchase. Please do not attempt to return large or heavy products, including large kitchen appliances, outdoor furniture, indoor furniture etc to your local store. If in doubt of whether you should return a product to your local store, please contact customer services first.
