I did buy this a month ago and well pleased I literally chuck it all in switch it on and forget it for 4 hours come back dinner is served its that simple, obviously all ingredients are diff be a little daring have a go chicken with loads of veg and stock lovely.

bought this as replacement for defunct 40 year old model. Happy with performance, but not keen on metal casing- gets really hot, enough to burn quite badly. Previous model had thick plastic casing.

It's ok
Not terrible for the price, the lid is shaky, so not a firm close, be careful when moving it will slide and as it's glass, could shatter. Basic, but as I got in the sales not disappointed, it works, just two cooking settings, high and low and has a warm setting. Have used it a couple times, and found that I've needed to extend cooking times by an hour or two longer than recipe suggests. Not certain of Thermostate level with high and low, but then this additional cook times could be attributed to loose fitting lid and not capturing heat to its full potential.
