Boasting a gorgeous design and sturdy construction, this sleeper cold frame is an elegant and practical way of growing your plants and crops during winter. It effectively protects against damage from frost and features glazing panels to provide the optimum temperature, ensuring excellent year-round growth. The timber is certified, so you can be confident it’s high quality and has been sourced responsibly, and comes pressure treated to ensure the beautiful natural finish lasts for longer.

The timber used to build this product has been pressure treated for durability and longevity and is likely to still have some green spotting on it as a result. There is no need to worry about these small dots as they are perfectly normal and will disappear within just a few weeks. Wood is a natural material and will inevitably move and warp slightly with time. If your wood splits or cracks with the passing seasons there is no need for concern, this is a natural by-product of timber construction.
Please Note: You cannot return this item due to green spotting, as this is a result of the product being treated, and it will fade over time

Superb Cold frame
Never drilled anything together before and managed this on my own, without any problems. Woods was cut so that it fit well together and hinges were already in place on one section. Very pleased.

Solidly built and good value

Really good quality
I'm really pleased with the quality of this cold frame. Great value for money. My husband and I put it together in about an hour. Fits together really well. I've always had good quality from Robert Dyas and was really pleased to find they do online as I don't have a shop near me any more.

Product is value for money, it does warp and shrink due to weather and quality of screws is poor - use own better quality so coldframe tightens better.

Solid cold frame
The base of the frame is extremely heavy,made from good strong timber.
The lids are good but the glazing is not made from clear plastic so light transmission won’t be good in winter.
Unfortunately one of the lids arrived damaged but was replaced quickly.
Worth purchasing.

I have recently bought a Zest4leisure Sleeper cold Frame and am very satisfied with it. The frame is very easy to assemble requiring no special tools or actions.
The construction of the frame is very sturdy and it should give many years of service and hopefully improve my planting and vegetable production.

I don't know why I waited so long to buy a cold frame! Very pleased with the size and quality of this one. Good height for taller plants at the back. Easy to build and looks good on the patio. My only slight complaint is that there is no centre stay so the glazing panels are not very secure when in the propped up position.

Despite a problem with a broken section, which was replaced, this Cold Frame has a high quality wooden frame and is easily put together. The photo of the frame is accurate. For the price, I think the Frame is a very good buy.

Strong and well made
This cold frame is the best I have seen on the market for the money. It is not cheap but made of 1 inch planks and study tops. If you are handy you could easily make it yourself if you have the time and inclination for about half the price.
Delivery was quick but the delivery man complained of the weight of the package and wanted a hand.

Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
