Works well
Works very well indeed. It is heavy and really needs two people to put it together but after that it’s simple to operate. It definitely needs the blocks to secure it and they are quite large and take up space on a patio.

I have been looking for a large parasol for ages, we looked at the large parasol that the company we got our furniture did but we’re not prepared to pay £800, this one is almost identical only different is the base, which we actually prefer the Robert Dyas base, would definitely recommend

BEST IN CLASS
We have a fairly standard umbrella in the centre of our outdoor round table and every summer we end up moving chairs in order to keep seats in the shade. We came across the concept of big cantilever parasols at a friend's house and just started looking via Google this year to buy our own. This Charles Bentley device - and the service provided by Robert Dias - fits the bill perfectly. But a word of caution, even though we paid an extra £100 to get special granite blocks (that fit the base unit) you must find a way of bolting the base down if you don't want to see the whole thing take off in a 20mph wind. It is a seriously big sail - and essentially off balance as soon as you erect it.

Good quality parasol
Good quality cantilever parasol. Easy to assemble and easy to use once in position. Useful having the swivel feature to follow the sun, again easy to use feature. Will just need to buy a cover as not included with parasol.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
