The Ecofective Slug Defence stops slugs and snails in their tracks as Natural non-toxic granules provide a physical barrier around edible and non-edible plants which deter slugs and snails from reaching the protected plants throughout the growing season. Missold product
This product does not kill slugs. It does not even claim to kill slugs. And yet it was recommended to me in the shop as a substitute for the traditional slug pellets (which do kill slugs). It will only work in very specific circumstances, with new compost, where the plant can be completely surrounded with the pellets (which are visually very obtrusive). It is completely ineffective for normal garden use.
