Good starter kit
The Encore E4 is of course based on the Fender precision style of basses. The general build quality is pretty good the action seems reasonable straight out of the box and is quite playable. One niggle is that the volume pot on the guitar is more like an on off switch rather than a gradual increase in volume, but not a major issue. The practice amp is more than adequate for home situations. The supplied tuner works well, the supplied stand is a little bit light weight but does the job, and you will probably want to buy a better guitar strap at some stage. Also supplied with the kit is a lead for the amp, and a pick. All in all, an excellent package for not much money.
