Very disappointing
We bought this product to go at the end of the bed and use as a storage unit and seat. It was delivered in a flat pack two days ago and we started putting it together today. This was a nightmare. For one the instructions were pretty much useless and there were screws to screw it together but no holes drilled to screw these in to. There were some screws in places but not others and I have no idea how we are going to be able to screw the side panels on without them falling off. The unit is now affixed but there is a big gaping gap between the panels which you can see because it’s so difficult to screw these together and one screw we literally couldn’t even get in. It’s really badly designed and not easy at all to put together. I will be contacting customer services tomorrow as I’m really disappointed. We spent literally all night working on this and it’s still not complete. I think you would need to be a carpenter to put it together. It definitely requires a drill and some raw plugs as all you really get here is some painted wood panels and some screws and handles. The mdf is not even cut to the same size as the panels. It definitely looks nothing like the picture above. You would be wise not to buy this product.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
