What a shame - will no longer use Robert Dyas...
The console table looked quite nice to be honest (in it's component parts) but unfortunately thats as far as I got with it. The rest of the shopping experience has been a shambles. The Item was delivered in February, but several days later than expected (couriers fault) & after finally arriving, the item was damaged. To clarify, there was no damage to the packaging at all (not even a small ding) so the item could only have been damaged before it was packaged (so no quality control then). I arranged to return item for a refund and then recieved an email stating that my request for a collection in May (10 weeks away) was not acceptable. I contacted them again and explanied that I had not requested a collection in May, but in 2 weeks time (early March) due to being on holiday. I then received confirmation of the collection on March 7th and having waited in all day (guess what) no collection on 7th March or 8th March (was it ever booked)? I contacted them again and they rearranged a collection date without even checking to see if I was available on that day (it was just luck that I was in). It's a real shame, as I have used Robert Dyas many times in the past and always had a good experience, but after this I will not be using them again. I realise that product damage and transport delays happen, but the way this has been handled and managed by Robert Dyas is an utter shambles and has been a complete waste of my time.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
