Is good for the price, but with 2 niggles.
A really good little ice machine that is fast and not too noisy, but there are a couple of flaws that I guess it shares with most others in price range.
1. The area where the ice is deposited isn't cold enough, so the ice slowly melts. So when I place it in my ice bucket in my freezer all the separate ice cubes freeze into one big lump that needs to be broken apart.
2. The machine shuts off when the ice bucket is full, or the water level is low. I find that I'll make a batch of ice which will last me 2 days before needing to make more. So after each batch I have to tip the machine upside down to drain out the water left in it so that it's not sat there stagnating. Some easier method to drain off any remaining water would be handy.
As I said, I'm sure these 2 issues will affect most, if not all, ice machines at this sort of price. So ignoring these 2 issues it does exactly what I'd expect an ice machine to do.
