Used this in an external kitchen drain that was slowly blocking with fat and food waste. I made the outside drain as warm as possible with hot water, then used the entire 1 litre, as opposed to the 100ml suggested. No violent foaming as with acid products, however after 30 mins and a good rinse, drain appeared perfectly clean. I felt into the U bend and that, too, previously greasy, was clean.
