Nice and solid once assembled!
I thought I would leave a review to help anyone else buying this product! You really are putting it together from scratch so allow two hours with two people! We made one fatal error that I wouldn’t say is very clear in the instructions. The front centre bar has a different measurement at the top and bottom space to the drawer runner, it’s very easy not to spot this in the instruction booklet (14 pages) and if so there’s a 50/50 chance of getting it right/wrong way up and we got it wrong! Unfortunately it doesn’t become evident until you have completed assembly of the whole unit and you go to put the drawers in but they won’t fit! So as this happened late on Sunday afternoon we had to leave it a week before we had time to de-assemble almost the whole unit to rectify this. So After approx 6 hours of labour we have finally completed it! The panel pins/nails for the back were also missing from the pack, fortunately this went in our favour as it made it easier when we had to de-assemble the unit as I’m sure the back would not have come off without damaging it once nailed down. Now that it is complete I’m very happy with it, it’s sturdy and doesn’t look like cheap pine. I’m sure the cost of buying an equivalent item already assembled would be much more so the complicated assembly is the price you pay for a cheaper item!
Perhaps if the manufacturers read this they could amend the instruction booklet to highlight the issue we had a bit more clearly!
