Good buyThis is a very powerful torch, found it very stiff when I put in the batteries but once done it was very effective. Bought because my dog was afraid of the dark and needed to be encouraged to go out last thing. It was perfect, a very good buy, just what one would expect from Robert Dyas!

Not used yetI have given 5* assuming these will be fine, but I haven't used them yet, the only think for me is they are a bit on the heavy side.

AmazingAll torches should be like this, powerful, adjustable beam light and well built.
Add to that the cheapest price at Robert Dyas and you have a great buy!

It's OK but no better than cheaper torchesIt feels very sturdy and well made and is very bright.
As other people have stated, there is a very annoying black spot in the centre of the beam, when using the wide beam. I have chapter torches which are just as well made but don't suffer the black spot issue at all. I was hoping that paying a premium price would give me better optics than this and be at least as good as cheaper torches.
I will keep the torch, but I wouldn't have paid such a price for a product which isn't as good as cheaper equivalent models.
