Amazingly light. Excellent heat distribution by the base, so no local burn spots. Easy to clean. Looks good on the dining table. Have just bought the 2.5litre as well.

Versatile family pot
I wanted a big pot for family meals and entertaining. This one is lighter than cast iron, beautifully non-stick and dishwasher safe. I've used it on the hob (ours is induction but would work on any type), in the oven and for keeping food hot on the barbecue outside. A good all rounder at a fair price.

Great heat distribution and little or no dripping
I bought the pot about a month ago and have used used it several times. It is easy to clean. The heat distribution is fantastic and the cover of the casserole has been built to minimize dripping especially when stews are being made.
