Humidifier working great so far
Impressed with the construction quality, ease of use and the different functions available which a cheaper model won't provide.
Bought to reduce relative humidity in a damp cellar. Works well and draws out lots of water bringing down RH to 50%.
I use a socket 24hr timer to arrange for the humidifier to switch on automatically between 1230 and 0730 when my electricity tariff is only 25% normal daytime tariff which means it is literally costing only pennies to use the dehumidifier..
Only disappointment is that the timing function on the humidifier only works for one event which is why I am using a wall timer to save me having to go down every day to reset the timer.
It will never cure the cellar dampness but at least it controls the moisture in the air to a reasonable level which I am hoping will reduce the likelihood of water damage and mould growth on stuff stored in the cellar.
I may use the humidity control to reduce the the RH level further down to 40% but this will mean more frequent tips down into the cellar to empty the reservoir which is a good 6 litres.

We had an old dehumidifier and wanted something a bit more up to date. This is ticking all the boxes. We can see a huge difference and the feature that dries washing has worked a treat. Can’t fault it at all.
