The Overlap Apex range offers a rustic look at an affordable price, guaranteed to suit all budgets. All products in this range are constructed using 7mm overlap cladding, 10mm solid sheet floor, 8mm solid sheet roof and 28 x 28mm framing for strength.
This range offers the choice between a window and no window shed.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
Mercia's aim is to make your installation experience as easy as possible, with minimal disruption as possible to your normal routine. To enable this their garden building installation service is as follows...
Once your order has been processed Mercia will send you an email to confirm your order and all the necessary information to ensure your garden is suitable and prepared for installation. It's vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto.
Once evidence has been provided of your firm, level base, our friendly customer service team will call you to book in a delivery and installation date that suits you. This will typically be the same day, however, for some buildings it may be different days.
On the day of delivery, we will send you a text to confirm your two-hour delivery slot and a link to the delivery portal, where you will be able to track the exact location of the driver.
Your new garden building will be delivered on a flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building into the installation position.
The team will then install your new building as per the product instructions. Once completed, the team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

Prompt delivery and a shed that’s great value for money, windows are a little flimsy for some, but can be cheaply and easily upgraded.

Great price, decent shed, some damage.
The driver was friendly and helpful which is great. I noticed immediately there was some minor damage to the panels/slats such as cracking but easily resolved with a little filler. 100% needed additional treatment however this is expected with all outbuildings.

Good product with one exception
Having purchased this shed outright, the only thing that surprised me was how thin the flooring was, I would recommend that the flooring thickness is reviewed and updated as this is the only weakness this product seems to have. I purchased further wood to ensure a solid floor. Other than this point the sale and delivery was good

You get what you pay for!
Shed was cheaper than other websites and when it arrived it was clear to see why. We have had to reinforce the floor as very flimsy. Lots of holes where the knots fell out when painting. Wood is split where it has been nailed.

Good cheap shed
I bought this 12x8 shed a month ago and all is fine apart from flooring not being fit for purpose ,had to buy 22mm chipboard which gives it a more sturdy feel also a couple of wood strips missing but all in all not bad for the price

Avoid at all costs!
In a nutshell: Cheap S@@T!
I purchased this shed in January during the sale for £399.99, they do say you get what you pay for. The build quality is poor!
The as mentioned solid floor is actually 9mm OSB, every time you stand on it it feels like you are going to fall through.
The screws are various sizes but come in a single bag, meaning you have to sort through to find the size you need. The instructions state 70mm screws to fix the side panels to floor, these are too long. I have had to buy extra 50mm screws.
The instructions aren't in order.
Finally, no matter how hard I have tried there is panel gaps. I have had to use 5 tubes of silicone to get it water tight. I have even had to PVA sections of the shed as the wood is splitting around the nails
Admittedly I overlooked this when purchasing but buyer beware! Don't make my mistake. The side panels are 5ft x 5ft, giving limited head height inside. As a 6ft man I can only stand up straight in the middle of the shed, if I try to go left or right I catch my head. Therefore it is only good for storage and cant be used as a workshop.
Avoid at all costs! Save up a bit more money and buy a proper one, I wish I had.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
You may not cancel orders for the following types of products:
- Electrical/Technical products which have been unsealed
- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
