My purchase
I bought this product from Robert Dyas as a trusted and which has a local business to us.
The ordering and delivery were , as stated. Albeit that we were not updated at all on a delivery time that day. It came early so
no problem. The unit is heavy,
very heavy and you will most certainly need two strong people to lift and maybe three to manoeuvre into position.
The fitting instructions are very clear up to the part on the remote control and settings on the travel of the awning. There is also no mention of the fact that the awning motor will overheat if used more than 3-4 movements in a row such as like when setting it up with the adjustment tool. It has a 45 minute reset time. However there is no mention of this in the instructions. We have the same setup on my electric garage door so was aware of the issue once it happened. It be said though that once fitted and set up a day ago it is working fine in just normal use. Due to the weight and stress on the exterior wall when extended I would have liked to have seen the already substantial 2 hanging brackets longer in length to spread the load a bit more as clearly this is a critical area. Just my observation, but then I tend to like things overbuilt haha. Overall though now it’s up we are very happy so far.

If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
