Sturdy Enough, but “you get what you pay for”
The stand is robust and sturdy, but not very well finished. The final coat of what seems to be a plasticised protective layer of paint was too thick to enable the connecting parts to slot together without removing some of the paint in the process - rendering the painting process a bit pointless. The spring loaded retaining buttons to hold the end extensions in place are not able to protrude through the holes provided because of the aforementioned final paint coat reduction of the size of the holes. However, once assembled and a couple of small bolts from my spares tub inserted, it holds together and feels safe and secure enough to use with my hammock. I guess the lesson here is that you get what you pay for - there are far or expensive options out there but this one will suffice until I win the lottery!

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
