Never Purchase this cage
I bought this cage for my sons birthday present. Firstly it comes in precisely one million pieces and takes a frustratingly amount of time to put together. The instructions are also horrendous so most of it is guess work.
We then put the hamster in the cage on 15.8.22 and by 25.8.22 it had gnawed a whole in the top compartment so big it would have escaped that night if we didn’t make some adjustments to the piping to remove the top hide out all together.
Another seriously poor design of this cage is that you have to take the whole thing to pieces again once a week to clean it and then try and remember how to put the thing back together again.
The water bottle that came with it leaked within the first day so I had to go and buy a new one the wheel is poor quality and I would never purchase this item again.

Awful
Had to return as had a crack in the cheap plastic bottom part of the cage and the flimsy bits that clip cage together were broken. For the amount this cost I thought it would be excellent quality, everything also comes in bits to make up which will take hours!! Definitely do not recommend. Robert dyas were good with delivery and returning item.

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!
I bought this hamster cage almost 2 weeks ago. It has gone from bad to worse.
When it arrived, the instructions were very unclear and the diagram was incorrect. After 2 days I managed to get the cage put together. The water bottle that was included didn’t work, the water would empty within minutes. Aside from that it was fine for a few days.
I woke up one morning and she had escaped. She had bitten the connecting plastic that holds the tube together, resulting in the sun roof falling off with her inside it.
I managed to temporarily fix this by replacing it with a spare tube.
This evening however I had the worst shock of my life.
She was biting on the cage, and suddenly her mouth and nose started spewing with blood. I took her to the vet. Upon arriving back home I checked the cage to see a sharp bit of plastic on the interior of the cage.
This cage is poorly made and not safe for hamsters to live in.
£70 cage has now cost me hundreds of pounds in vet bills, and possibly my hamsters life.
