Delivery Information

The Delivery Process

Shed arrives on a pallet

Your shed will arrive on a pallet on the day specified. Delivery is kerbside and moved with a pallet truck.

Unload shed for assembly

Each component can be unloaded safely from the pallet ready for you to assemble.

Postcode Restrictions

Power are unable to deliver to the following postcodes and areas; Off-shore postcodes (e.g. HS, ZE, JE, IM, some PA, IV, KW, PH postcodes) and the Isle of Wight

Further Information

- Power will send the shed out 2 days before your specified delivery date.
- The shed will then be in the depot near to you in time for the delivery date.
- Providing you have given a mobile number, when the item is scanned onto a delivery vehicle you'll be sent a text from the courier.
- Delivery is typically made on an 18 ton truck unless you have specified for a smaller vehicle (therefore if access is an issue please let us know).
- We do request that the driver contacts you before arriving as well
- Delivery can be any time between 8am and 6pm (therefore do not arrange for installation on the same day as delivery)
- The courier has a high delivery success rate but in the very unlikely event that we’re unable to deliver or if a problem arises, it will be re-arranged for the following morning.
- The shed is delivered on a pallet – delivery is moved with a pallet truck and where the driver can take it is down to the driver’s discretion (although they are usually very helpful).
- Delivery is contactless and so the driver cannot take the shed off the pallet and move it for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Little Potting Shed! The ‘flat pack’ arrived on the arranged day & time on a pallet as stated. The panels were stacked upright with additional wooden pieces screwed individually into each panel on each side to enable us to remove one panel at a time which was a major help. All the panels fitted together with very little warping, there are four substantial shelves supplied to fit in the windows inside, perfect for the plants to get maximum sunlight. We are delighted with the results, a great little potting shed reasonably priced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Shed We wanted this shed from Power Sheds and Robert Dyas was £90 cheaper, so a no brainer! It was easy to built, you must make sure the plot is properly level. Plenty of screws supplied. which is very good The only difficult bit was putting the shelves in, the potting shed get heavy shelves, its best to put temporary batons up to take the weight, but apart from that, it was brilliant. I'd recommend Robert Dyas and Power sheds

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice shed but..... The product is no doubt good quality but the lack of knowledge about the delivery and assembly for the general occasional diyer can be so frustrating. Delivery....there are no warnings written or verbal as to how the pallet is unloaded, until the instruction are detached and opened. So asking the driver to position the pallett out of the way on the drive is not good. You need a one person space all around the pallet to undo the screws holding the cross members keeping it all together. If there's a chance of rain, then first thing you do is detach the instruction pack. I didn't thinking the plastic covering would protect them, but staples leave holes and my instructions were sopping wet by the time the pallet was unloaded and positioned on the drive. I found the power shed video online and if you view that, assembly is a one man piece of cake (not). The panels don't fit together as easy due to slight 'warping' or 'twisting'...not too serious but I used a clamp on some to pull them in. My biggest problem was the roof panels.. again they were slightly out of shape and with the wall panel slightly out due to them bein slightly out of shape, the roof panels wouldn't come together as easily or as depicted in the one man video.... The felting was definitely a two man job and the video and instructions avoids the most important aspect ..the cutting.... I cut mine for one side only to find what was left wasn't long enough to do the other side and had to buy a further roll of roof felt.. The screw pack doesn't contain a cross head screw bit and there seems to be two sizes of cross head screws, requiring two different bits.... I have a couple of sets of bits and couldn't find one that fitted nice and snug and went through 3 bits before I'd finished. The last issue was the door. Instructions are that the door can be fitted either handed and I needed to change it..simple, except when you turn the lock upside down, the hole for the key won't allow the key to turn. To make the hole a lot bigger was an option, but I decided to put the lock back to its delivered position and use it upside down.... It it's raining, or hammering down, when taking delivery, I would cover it with a tarp. My thoughts were...it's a shed, treated to be outside, but other than soggy instruction, the lock and key were already rusting....wd40 tidied them up... Good Luck...
