Just love this.
I just love my new soup maker.
Have used other makes but find this even easier to use than the last one and more efficient (sorry for using my professional terminology.........H&S).
It is also soooo easy to clean.
Love the functions it has............not tried the crushing of ice yet.

'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' Soup Maker/Blender!
I must share with you my feelings about your Soup maker/blender. I'm finding it exciting to use and I'm thoroughly delighted and surprised with my results! I'm a lady of a 'certain age', and have been used to regularly making soup in a big soup pot. I always take pride in making it, but preparation for this method is time consuming and can be messy, and now that there's only 'Himself and Meself' at home, this compact, stylish looking clever gadget, seemed ideal, size wise too, as it gives four good helping of soup. I think that I'm in love again ... with my soup maker! No mess, no need to transfer to a liquidiser then into another receptacle or using a stick blender. Wow ~ it's all in one and the aroma in the kitchen is fabulous while the soup is cooking and I find the keep warm function very handy. Being able to select a creamy or chunky soup is magical, and we're still getting our homemade soup just by popping the fresh ingredients into the jug and pressing of a button. About 30 minutes later it's ready.
School holidays now and today I supervised my eleven year old grandson making your Tomato, Red Pepper and Basil Soup. Fantastic fun and we enjoyed eating it with chunky bread! After cleaning the stainless steel jug, he made a gorgeous tasting smoothie. Lunch was extremely nutritious, tasty and fun, and there was a lot of love in the air! Your soup maker/blender is a winner. It's sturdy yet elegant looking stainless steel, and easy to use. I love it. And, washing up ~ virtually 'nil' ~ great 'cos I don't have a dishwasher other than 'Himself'!
I have a new excitement now for soup making and I'm eager to try more adventurous ingredients. Thank you, Russell Hobbs, for your new creation!

stylish and robust item with excellent safety features.It make a generous portions and saves a lot of time and dishes.Cleaning is quick and easy and wonderful. I feel It would be better if the top/cup had similar safety device to stop taking off whilst using. Instructions are a little contrary and a little difficult to understand. simple words would probably be better on buttons rather than pictures. I think it would be very helpful to clearly state DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER AND WHAT IS BEST UTENSIL to use. To make your own recipe would require a couple of goes to get measurement right. It would be nice to know for health eating and diets if the likes of frylight could be used. A recipe book could be enclosed or offered at reduced price. Also refer people to your site for more recipes. I personally would strive to get use to this than to revert to the old methods. I started the soup and had all concentration on cooking the main meal and we had soup to start with no hasstle.
