Heats up quickly
Very pleased with this iron. Heats up quickly and steams well. I like the handles at the front and back, makes it easy to pick up and putting the iron back on the base is easy because of rubber mounts.

Brilliant light weight iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this iron for a few weeks now and am loving it. This iron is excellent with so much power from the steam jets which are really powerful. It irons perfectly without having to press firmly down on the fabric even on light underwear. It makes ironing so much quicker. The water tank lasts ages before it needs refilling, making the iron light in weight and so much easier to use. So glad I got this iron it makes it a pleasure to use.

Lightweight and effective

Reduced ironing time!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ironing is a chore to me! I have school uniforms, work shirts and lots of general items that need ironing each week, and each week I dread it!! Up until now I’ve just used a regular iron and although it got the job done, I’ve always felt that it could be easier! I wish I’d have got my hands on the Russell Hobbs Steam Power Steam Generator Iron years ago!! It’s perfect! The large tank means you don’t have to keep filling it up, and produces ample steam to complete the ironing easily. The settings on the iron itself are simple and straightforward and easily adapted per item. The iron reacts quickly to a change in settings and allows you to plough through rapidly. There is a limescale collector which is changeable after approximately 100 uses to ensure the iron is at its best. I would have liked the iron to have came with a spare so that I felt prepared for when it was due, but this is a small issue as they are easily available online. Overall I love it!! It saves time and effort and makes the job so much easier!!!!

Very lightweight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used it for a few weeks but so far so good. Compared to a traditional iron, this is very lightweight and easy to use. I have found that it irons well even without using the steam, which a traditional iron wouldn't do- this is important for me as I don't want to be using the steam all the time. However, the vertical steam ironing is powerful and worked very well when I tried it. The only issue was that going over some plastic labels and writing, like the care instruction tags, on a couple of shirts, I found that some fibres did stick to the soleplate, I think I'll have to be more careful with that as it's normal from for some synthetic fibres to stick on a cotton temperature setting. The water reservoir is big and even ironing about 20 items, it was enough. Overall is a good choice, I am happy with it.

Excellent, lightweight and powerful steam action.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t enjoy ironing so for me having to do it is usually quite a chore. Which is why I was so pleasantly surprised the first time when I’ve used this iron - it is very lightweight (I have arthritis so can’t hold and deal with heavy stuff), glides super smoothly on all types of fabric (incl. silk), steam action is fantastic, and the iron doesn’t need to be super hot to get rid of creases in my clothing, so I feel that I’m not damaging fabric by using super hot temperature. I haven’t managed to burn my hands yet, which for me is unheard of, as I always burn my hands with my old steam iron. This iron is easy to store too and it heats up quickly when I need it. You don’t exactly need instructions to use it, as it is made to be very user friendly - just fill in the water holder, pop it back, plug in the cable, switch the iron on, and wait until the light indicating that steam (bubbles) is ready turns red, and voila, you can use your iron. I’ve been using this iron for well over a month now and I absolutely love it! I can’t say that I’m suddenly a fan of ironing, but frankly I can now iron a shirt in about a minute, instead of the usual 5-7 minutes, so how could I not like this iron! I can definitely recommend it to anyone in a need of a new steam iron.
