The Scheppach RS400 rotary garden sieve is a professional machine to sieve large amounts of rubble, as well as refine top soil, sand, and garden compost. It features rigid all steel construction, a powerful yet really quiet 360 watt motor, 900 mm rotary drum with 20mm diameter holes for grading coarse rubble, whilst the standard mesh insert with 10mm diameter holes is ideal for finishing or fine grading top soil. The drum rotates at an optimum speed of 42 rpm whilst the drum tilt facility ensures the waste rubble passes out the other end after being completely refined for top soil. After use, the RS400 can be easily wheeled away for storage.

Great piece of kit.I was thinking I’d have to pay someone to refine the huge amount I need to do, but this is going to do the job way cheaper. The result is lovely fluffy stoneless soil I’d be happy to use anywhere.

Not as advertised and not functionalThe arms do not fit onto the drum - the holes are drilled in the wrong place. Also, the shown brush mechanism for keeping the drum clean was missing entirely, and the RS400 DOES NOT collapse for storage/transit as the Robert Dyas website states (it's smaller version the RS350 might but the RS400 does not). Also, the drum cannot be inclined at different rates as claimed. Scheppach claims UK Cusotmer Service but there is no phone number, only annoying web forms and the email response you get is in GERMAN. Lastly, the courier arrived solo to deliver this, which given it is clearly a two man item was unhelpful. I'm really unimpressed.
