needs clear water to operate. Any blanket weed and it gets clogged up easily.

Lovely water fountain but not for bird baths
I bought this as it was advertised in a bird bath, The product is too large for a bird bath. Also as it is a floating fountain i tried this in a large bowl. As the floating fountain moves around the wind blows the water over the edge so water spills out.
This product has to be in full sun as it will not work without the sun.
If you have a pond this is ideal and looks lovely. I gave this to my friend who has a pond

Aerate the pond
Got this to try to prevent the weed growing in the pond that would be newt friendly. Early days so don't know if it will stop the weed growing. Even if it doesn't, it does look pretty and like the choice of attachments to have different fountain heads.

Small but effective pump
This is a small pump which operates when it is very sunny. As soon as the sun goes behind a cloud then it stops working - but good for sunny days and fits in a small container. Great for small gardens.
