Stylish and practical mini kettle
Looks good, holds 3 mugs worth of water, so just what I was looking for, to save energy and not too heavy for me to carry. A bit expensive for a kettle but that's my choice to select SMEG.

Lovely stylish kettle
We love our new kettle. The red really brightens up our kitchen and it's the perfect size for two people. The only design flaw is that you have to lift the lid rather than having a flip-top which I would have preferred, otherwise it's perfect.

Looks lovely but
The kettle look great and goes really well with matching coffee maker and toaster. However, it’s really hard to lift the lid so been filling through the spout which is not ideal. The lid on the larger kettle looks lot better design where the button in the middle is pressed and the lid lifts automatically. Pulled the lid today and the the top part of the lid came completely off. Unable to fit it back correctly and steam now comes out the lid when boiling so is unsafe to use. Looks great though and ideal size so think I was just unlucky getting one with a very sticky lid,

Looks lovely but low power
Looks lovely but SMEG made a very bad design decision when they installed a low power heater in their 0.85l kettle. 99% of people buy a small kettle because they are tired of the weight and size of a big kettle when they usually only want 1 or 2 or 3 cups. It isn't because there's suddenly less people in their family and they need less boiled water. So SMEG made a terrible design decision when they reduced the kettle size but also reduced the power from 3kw to 1.4kw. The result is the same amount of water takes twice as long to boil.

If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
