This rubber broom is much more efficient than a traditional bristle broom with a clever and effective dustpan that you can really rely on.
You can pop your shoe in the dustpan to hold it in place whilst you sweep into it with the brush, meaning that you can get it at just the right angle that you need!

Great for carpets, probably better than a vacuum
When I first got this I used in on our tile floor thinking it would sweep and act like a mop at the same time. It didn’t really do that and worked just like a normal sweeping brush. But then I used it on carpets and it is amazing. Gets up so much more dirt / hair and dog hair that the vacuum, and also has the benefit of not clogging the vacuum cleaner head. I lent it to my mum and now she has one too!

Cost more - but worth it!
I was a little reticent to pay as much as I did for the spontex broom/dustpan but since having purchased it I'm hopeful that it will be the last time I ever need to buy a broom! It works effectively on all surfaces, and I love being able to hold the dustpan down with one foot and sweep my 'gatherings' into it. I have also found it useful that the broom head can be adjusted at 90 degrees to help reach those more inaccessible places. I also love the fact that it's so easy to clean the broom - just a wee bit of soapy water and a bit of kitchen roll and Bob's your uncle. Or aunt. Or gender-neutral friend. Yes, it's tragic that I am spending time on a Saturday evening reviewing a broom, but that's what my life has come to. It is what it is. Byeee!

It’s all about the positioning of your feet
I was really nervous about buying this set. I have three cats and one dog, so I needed a brush set that could pick up pet hairs, loose food and dust. The set took a few attempts to get the position of my feet correct. I needed to put one foot firmly on the mat whilst sweeping, the other foot in the the dustpan tray. The rubber on the dustpan enabled a lot more food waste to be swept up. I simply tipped the waste into the bin and then rinsed the pan under the cold water tap. It picked up so much food waste and dust that I was very impressed. It was an expensive item to purchase but certainly worth every penny. The broom sits in the dustpan for storage. It is an excellent purchase.

I brought this as I have just had my living room decorated and hardwood floor laid and was having my hair dresser coming to cut our Covid hair so needed to have something to sweep up all the hair and omg it is brilliant love using it on the hardwood floor and not having to bend down to pick up dirty Rubbish it’s even better

If you choose to have your order delivered to your local store, it is completely free and will be delivered within 5 working days (excluding Bank Holidays).
When your order arrives in your chosen store, we will e-mail you to advise that your order is ready for collection. Your order will be held in store for 7 days.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
You may not cancel orders for the following types of products:

- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by one of the following methods:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
2. Visit Your Local Robert Dyas Store
Whether you bought the product in store, online or over the phone, most of our products can be returned to a Robert Dyas stores. Please bring your order confirmation as proof of purchase. Please do not attempt to return large or heavy products, including large kitchen appliances, outdoor furniture, indoor furniture etc to your local store. If in doubt of whether you should return a product to your local store, please contact customer services first.
