TCP Smart Tape Light
I bought this nearly 2 weeks ago,the member of staff who helped make sure it was the one I was looking for was very helpful and very knowledgable...I'm not very technically clued up ...but I have to say the tape light was extremely easy to set up with lots of different colours that can be dimmed and can be set to go on and off with a timer ...I'm very impressed and even better that Robert Dyas had it at a much cheaper price than anywhere else !

WOW as good as Philips Hue
I thought i would try these as the reviews looked good, I have always got Philips Hue, these are as good at a fraction of the price.
Will be making TCP as my go-to brand for smart lighting from now on.

Led strip light as good as branded products
We bought these led lights a couple of weeks ago to see what they are like and we were fantastically surprised at the quality, we have Phillip hue products In our home but from now on we will be purchasing TCP products, they work with google and Alexa, there is a variety of colours and they look stunning under our couch and behind our tv. All I can say is they really are as good as other more well known branded products for a quarter of the price.

It works well and looks fun but it would be nice if one of the many options was a slow rotation of colours. Also the sticky back isn't very sticky! Good value, though

Good but...
I bought this to fit to a shelving unit, and it does work pretty well although I wouldn’t say that it ever really gets to “warm white”
The app is also a bit hit and miss. I tried to set up automation to change the colours and it just seemed to crash the lights. I contacted their support team and they said that that feature wasn’t available. If you like the multi colour lights or pure white then they are great but not if you want a warm white.

Good for party atmosphere
Bought this recently to fix under my kitchen cupboards as an experiment. It is ok as a temporary solution but not sure it will last. The adhesive backing is not great and I'm having to hold up sections with tape. The light band itself is nice and can be programmed to change colours, although not ideal in a kitchen. It may come in handy though, for parties, but I don't think I'd be holding one any time soon!

Not a fan, won’t buy or recommend
At first I thought they were great! But even after following instructions the sticky part of the light was not sufficient after a few hours, started to fall down. Hard to bend around anything. Temperamental joints in the extenders etc. Also the set up took a few attempts, even following all instructions. I would buy these again.

unbelieavvly complikcated with 5 GHZ TO 2.4 GHz
its impossible to change my wifi FROM THE IP ADDRESS. its on both 2 and 5 yet this thing only connects to the 5 so withoyth being an IT savvy person ive no clue how to change my HUB wifi to only 2 herts to connect this thing to the app. awful
no one at TCP SMART to ask for help so its laying redundant in the ox until i return them both

Waste of Money
The wireless control is difficult to set up and the adhesive on the tape of lights is so weak that lights kept falling off the clean wooden surface I had put them on. The lights are now in a cupboard where I will not be reminded of the money I wasted on them.
