The Tilsbury 2 drawer petite bedside cabinet in a rich, dark lacquer finish is from a handcrafted range that will bring a touch of old fashioned colonial elegance to your home.
Made from oriental softwood with Ash veneered inset panelling, each piece is lovingly created by hand before being expertly stained and polished in a rich, dark lacquer finish.
Throughout this furniture you may find the makers markings where parts have been expertly aligned by the cabinet maker during construction.

Nice finish and practical
My wife wanted a small cabinet to store items neatly as well as being convenient at the side of her chair. This meets the requirement and is well finished if you like traditional style furniture.
The only issue, and why I have only given four stars, is that it does take some effort to assemble. Although the instructions say it should take 35 minutes I can't see anyone doing it in this time unless in a factory style environment when they have been used to assembling several examples. In particular, at one stage it was very difficult to get to one set of screws (you needed either a longer length or very stubby screwdriver) as the drawer runner was in the way. If doing it again I would probably put the runner on out of sequence to avoid this.

Small classy but a little pricey
These drawers look nice and classy but for the price I would expect them to be a little bigger. The look is just like the picture however and they do look expensive, but they are small.

Inferior quality
Apart from my husband spending hours to put these 2 bedside tables together as they were badly made, the finished products were very disappointing. One in particular looked as the staining on the wood had been done by a child.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees

If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
