Very poor workmanship
I bought a chiminea and was very disappointed in one if the sections it had a crease in which was obviously done before being painted the bottom section was out of line so wouldn’t line up with the middle. Finally got the money back after 3 weeks of hassle

Poor quality
We’re disappointed with this product. The bottom section does not align with the middle section so looks a bit odd when built. On first use the enamel in the side is all peeling off. Poor quality and not worth the money we paid for it, very disappointed and would not buy again or recommend.

I would give this a zero star if I could!
The Chimenea looks great. When you get it you think there must be parts missing but no, it's very simple to set up - that's the good bit - sort of. Used it once resulting in the paint peeling off straight away. The log store below should not be used as a log store as the fire above drops sizable embers into it causing a secondary fire, as you can see in the image. The metal is extremely thin and would not believe it would last long even if the pain issues was not prevalent. Sent message to Robert Dyas who replied stating that "This information has now been passed to the approved supplier of this item to report the damage to them right away." I can only presume they will be contacting the factory in China as that is where it is made - NOT the UK.
I'm pretty sure if an item is not fit for purpose as this quite clearly is poor design, hazardous and poor quality finish, I'm not sure what they propose to offer.
This was my first and last ever purchase from Robert Dyas as they don't seem to understand the laws of distance selling let alone an item that is not fit for purpose - but a Chimenea but don't light a fire in it!

Not good
Paint flaked & bubbled after one use, now it’s rusting where the paint came off, still waiting to hear what Robert Dyas are going to do about it.

Delivery is FREE on orders over £30 with code FREEDEL30.
We cannot deliver to Scottish Highlands, Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and Isle of Wight.
Some larger products are delivered to kerb-side (the street outside your home).
From time to time orders can experience delays in courier networks. Due to this, we would strongly advise against booking any third parties to build / install your item until you are in receipt of your goods. Robert Dyas is unable to compensate for any costs to third parties.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets

If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
