Overview
A stylish and practical ottoman storage bed in a quality linen fabric finish. The bed features a durable steel framework with quality, hard wearing 8 ply poplar sprung slats. The sprung slats increase comfort whilst also increasing mattress life span.
Classic buttoned headboard with padding for added comfort when sitting up in bed. Matching buttoned footboard and attractive silver feet complete the design. Quality linen fabric with a slight texture, hard wearing and easy to clean.
Featuring quality gas lift pistons, the large storage area can be easily accessed enabling a large variety of items to be tidily stored away. The base is covered with a black fabric cloth so stored items are not in contact with the floor.
Suitable for use with all standard UK size mattresses. The bed meets all UK FR and safety standards and has also undergone extensive structural testing. Supplied flat pack for self-assembly, approximate build time of 60-90 minutes.

Ottoman bed base good value for money.
Disappointed I could not order in store. Staff at Casltepoint very helpful excellent customer service .
My brother help me to order it on line disappointed that I could not select delivery date. It would be good if you could order it from the store.

STOP!!! Read this before building bed
Please note as it’s not obvious before you even open the brown cardboard box look for a QR code this takes you directly to a YouTube assembly video which will make a huge difference to how long and how good you build it
Because I followed the video the bed is perfect and the lift functions as it should

Not a storage bed
I ordered Storage Ottoman Bed for the sole purpose that it was advertised as having a storage under. The storage is practically a piece of cloth that is attached to bottom part of the frame with Velcro. This is not a storage and it is very misleading. It does not hold anything and practically you are leaving your items in the floor underneath your bed. Not to mentioned it took so long to build that I could not even have the will to dismantle and return back.

Hydraulics failed
I purchased the bed from a third party online supplier and contacted them after putting the bed together as on one side of the bed the hydraulics did not work.
When notifying the third party supplier they contacted Aspire who just pushed back the fault on the installation and set up of the bed. A video was sent a few days after receiving the bed and the reposes from Aspire was that the bed had been heavily used somehow and so the hydraulics failed.
Unfortunately I have been left with a product that doesn't work and have had to leave a negative review.
I feel the third party online store reselling this product did what they could in contacting you and forwarding my video and that your response was not professional and I wouldn't recommend your products to anyone.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team on 0333 103 6677 (Monday- Friday 08:00 - 19:00, Saturday & Sunday 09:00 - 17:00, Closed Bank holidays. - call charges may vary by network) or via email to: customerservices@robertdyas.co.uk who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are returning the item under your 14 day right to cancel, then a collection charge will be applied:
- Products < 20kg: £7.50
- Products > 20kg: £30
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
