Not for a novice
Base rests on a thin bit of plywood through middle section. This piece fell from leaning against wall and broke in 2 peices. It didnt feel very solid. I have a lot of regrets buying this product. Only buy if you have a large space to contrsuct it, needs 2-3 people to build, many hours (a day) and lots of patience!
