Monty features comprehensive connectivity with DAB/DAB+ Digital Radio alongside traditional analogue FM reception, so listen to any of your favourite stations and save them to one of sixty presets. If you’re yet to try digital radio now is the time, with better coverage and more stations than ever before. On digital radio finding new stations to try couldn’t be easier with the auto scan to find all your available stations and a simple alphabetical list to scroll through.
Your Monty is further enhanced with wireless Bluetooth connectivity enabling you to connecta phone, tablet, or any other smart device and stream music from your own collection or services such as; Apple Music, Deezer, and Spotify. A traditional 3.5mm aux-in is included if you prefer a hard-wired connection. Monty also features a USB port that allows you to charge your phone/tablet as you stream or at any other time.
No matter what you choose to listen to it will sound fantastic thanks to the combination of the acoustically designed real wood case and a 10W ultra-wide full range stereo speaker. Those who like a little more bass or wish to tinker with the treble can do so using the full functional EQ which offers a range of presets and personalized My EQ settings. Brilliant bluetooth speaker
Bought after checking other reviews.
It's a lovely design, which has been commented on.
I purchased to mainly use as bluetooth speaker for work, and in our caravan.
It's so easy to pair up, and I've found myself using the clock too.
Sound quality is great.
Wanted a plug in one too, as battery operated one seems wasteful.

Small and beautiful with a big sound!
A fabulous and stylish radio with the added bonus of being able to run off a rechargeable battery that really does last for ages. Perfect size and with the carry strap great for taking outside. The sound from this darling little radio really does surprise you and as an owner of the Roberts radio I’d say it’s a definite rival. I now have 3 of the Monty VQ’s as I have one in my shop, one in my work studio and one in my kitchen - the Bluetooth facility is great for listening to podcasts and my phone playlists but with much better sound. A great size for smaller spaces too.
