Overview
The Braun Scan & Clean air purifier thanks to the Air Quality Sensor continuously monitors particles and VOCs levels in the room. The Automatic Smart Mode activates filtration and its intensity. The air quality is visually displayed in real time using colour-coding. Braun Scan & Clean air purifier is perfect for general air cleaning using our exclusive patented ifD Filtration Technology which features permanent washable filters. Maintenance is a breeze with the permanent and washable mesh pre-filter and patented main ECO filter; just wash them with water, let them dry and start using them again. Heavy duty carbon filter reducing odours and VOCs is replaceable twice a year. The pack contains 1x Air purifier, 1 x patented washable ECO filter, 1 x washable mesh pre-filter and 1 x Odour & VOC carbon filter (item code: BRFV1E).

Smart tech!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun Scan and Clean is a seriously clever piece of household tech. The device automatically scans the room and adjusts it's mode accordingly. We've noticed a drop in blocked noses through the night and can only put it down to a decrease in allergens in the bedroom while the Scan and Clean is in operation. Very portable and with about the same noise as a room fan while in operation. Would definately recommend.

Great Item
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this product, it was a little bigger and heavier than I expected it to be but feels incredibly sturdy. I was a bit apprehensive how noisy it would be when set up and working but was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is. I feel a lot better having it in the room especially have 4 children it seems they always pick up anything going around school. Very impressed.

Quiet, Sleek and Great In Current Times
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried this may be noisy but even on his highest setting when it is actively cleaning the air it is no louder than a fan, you can still here the TV or people talking etc..... it has a great active scanning setting that you can visibly see with the lights on top so when the air needs purifying it is on red and when it is OK it is green. It is sleek and discrete and doesn't look out of place in our home. It is quite tall but we have a place for it to go. I don't know if it works with covid but it has made us feel better when we have visitors around that we have this running.

Great air purifier

We have also noticed a slight difference in our pet odour within the room which has been great. There is also a mode for automatic change so it will adapt to the current reading.

Sleek looking and highly efficient!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although we keep as clean a house as most, dusting and vacuuming regularly, we've been looking at getting an air purifier for some time.
As we have an indoor cat, we can't open our windows as wide or as frequently as we'd like to keep the air fresh and clean. This has meant that we're often having to close her out of the room so that we can air it out.
The Scan & Clean air purifier has been an absolute godsend. Whilst it doesn't have the same cooling effect as opening a window, that's not what it's designed for.
When you switch it on, it automatically detects the level of air filtration required and adjusts accordingly, coming back down the levels as the air is purified. This normally only takes around 5 minutes to come back down to the lowest level.
The detection on the machine is amazing. If the cat runs past and kicks up some hair past the machine, it almost immediately kicks into action to clean the air. It works much the same when we're cooking in the kitchen. Even though the door is closed, the smell of food still makes its way into the living room, which the Scan & Clean picks up right away and eliminates from the air.
The machine itself is about the height of a standard tower fan and looks really sleek in our living room. The finish is matte black and there are no huge grilles on the front, just a single small opening near the top.
If I had ANY minor complaints, they'd be that there's no remote so you do have to control it from the buttons on top and it can be a little bit loud, especially when on full power but this is rare.
If you're looking for an air purifier, this definitely gets my vote. It's mega efficient, automatically adjusting and looks amazing!

Clean air

It has really make a difference in air as I had itchy and runny nose but I feel the air is much cleaner after using it and I have less symptoms of allergy and specially in times of Covid it's very handy and useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this has to be the best product of its kind on the market at the moment. clean air is so important for a healthy lifestyle and also for people with allergies, this machine amazes me and i wouldn’t be without it now. the machine itself is on the large size but its very stylish and elegant at the same time. the device has a four stage cleaning system, the rear filter captures larger particles while the eco filter captures both smaller and visible particles. a small room can be cleansed in around 5 minutes and a large room in about an hour.

Does the job
