The BG 200AL is a heavy duty double end bench grinder suitable for anyone who gets frustrated when working with blunt tools and wants to keep them perfectly sharpened. The heavy metal construction, powerful 550 watt induction motor, in–built accuracy, whisper quiet and smooth running speed of the large 200mm grinding wheels. It also has a useful grinding wheel dresser for when the stone becomes uneven and needs truing. The ideal workshop companion for sharpening tools, removing surface coatings, de-burring sharp edges, and much more.

Splendid bit of kit
Delivered promptly and safely, this appears to be a robust piece of equipment that has so far operated superbly. It works well in combination with polishing mops (which I got from ThePolishingShop.co.uk - also recommended and very helpful - remember the spindle diameter is 5/8" or 15.88mm). Be aware that the integral tool rest provided with the bench grinder is quite limited (small, and doesn't seem to allow angle adjustment) so I have since bought a separate fully adjustable tool rest jig which works a treat. My only complaint is there was a small chip out of the side edge of the fine sharpening wheel upon opening, but this doesn't seem to impair performance and could have happened when I first used it in any case. All in all this is a good purchase that I'm very happy with.

Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
