Right for Me
It's like a little cautionary tale for consumers about the wisdom of buying what's right for you, as opposed to what you think other people think is "best" or "safest" or "cleverest" or "latest". "Latest" is the worst.
I had shopped for a microwave about a year earlier, but was very quickly and completely disappointed in what I bought from The Big Japanese Giant. Without meaning to, I probably helped to destroy it. Anyway, when it had to be replaced, I approached the shopping in a less logical frame of mind, asking myself whether I could even imagine a microwave a person could actually get to like. The one I bought was almost exactly the same size and shape as the old one, but it had a handle that fit a human hand, rather than gleaming surface of shiny black buttons. It was simple: to set the time, you turn a dial and the numbers go up or down. Yes, that simple! It looked really nice, too, I thought -- cream, instead of fierce, brainy black. It was made by a Danish company I'd never heard of before, and marketed by a UK firm equally obscure to me, but this time it didn't matter. Apparently we were right for each other. It came in maybe two days. I really don't remember the set-up, it was so easy, and we've lived happily ever after.

If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
