Here are some mouth-watering beef recipes that you can effortlessly create on your BBQ:

 

Beef Burger Recipe

For 6 people

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 g chopped steak: 6 pieces 
  • Hamburger bun: 6 pieces
  • Egg yolk: 1 piece 
  • Strong mustard: 20 g
  • Peanut oil: 15 cl
  • Tomato vinegar: 2 cl
  • Sucrine : 2 pieces
  • Tomato: 2 pieces
  • Slice of red cheddar: 6 pieces
  • Fine salt: 6 pinch (s)
  • Mayonnaise (couple spoonfuls)

 

METHOD

Get the grill ready. Wash the salad and cut it into thin strips. In a large bowl, put the egg yolk and mustard, then whisk vigorously, gradually incorporating the peanut oil. Add the vinegar and salt. Mix the salad with the mayonnaise. Peel the tomatoes and cut them into thin rings. Pass the hamburger buns over the embers for a few seconds to toast them lightly. Salt the minced steaks. Place them on the barbecue grill and let them cook for 2 min, then turn them over. Place the cheddar slices on the meat for that desirable melted taste and cook for another 2 mins. To finish off – simply get your burger bun, place the salad, the meat and the tomatoes, then finish with the bread cap!

 

Beef Skewers with Pesto Recipe

For 4 people

INGREDIENTS

 - 600 g of beef (rump steak or fondue piece)

- 1/2 red pepper

- 4 onions

- 1/2 zucchini

 

 The marinade:

 - 1 small bunch of basil

 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil

 - 2 cloves garlic

 

METHOD

Using a sharp knife cut the steak into cubes 2 cm. Pluck the leaves of the basil. In a mixer bowl, put the basil, garlic, oil, salt, pepper, and mix. Place in a deep dish. Add the beef cubes to the pesto marinade and mix. Leave to marinate for 1 hour. Then remove the beef cubes from the marinade, yet keep the marinade for the delicious flavouring to enjoy after. Make 4 skewers by inserting peppers, zucchini and onions. Lastly, cook the skewers on the barbecue, basting with the leftover marinade.

 

Rosemary Beef Skewer Recipe

For 6 people

INGREDIENTS

  • Rump steack: 800 g
  • Red pepper : 2 pieces
  • Onion : 6 pieces     
  • Rosemary branch (s): 12 pieces
  • Olive oil: 5 cl
  • Salt: 6 pinch (s)
  • Pepper mill: 6 turn (s)

 

METHOD

Get the grill ready. Wash the red peppers and peel them, then seed them and cut them into large dice. Wash the onions and peel them, then cut them into quarters. Cut the beef rump in pieces of 50g. Leaf the branches of rosemary, keeping the stems with a few sprigs at the end in order to use them as skewers. Then alternate these skewers with red peppers, onions and beef. Make 2 skewers per person and season them with salt & pepper. Then place the skewers on the barbecue grill and turn them regularly until they are done to your taste, whether this is rare, medium or well done.

 

Rib Steak Marinated in Pink Berries Recipe

For 6 people

INGREDIENTS

  • Rib Steak Steak : 6 pieces
  • Pink peppercorn : 10 g
  • Long peppers : 10 g
  • Salt: 3 pinch (s)
  • Olive oil: 5 cl

 

METHOD

Pass the pink berries and pepper in the blender, then mix them with the olive oil. Let the meat marinate in the mixture for 2 hours. Get the grill ready. Remove the steaks from the marinade without draining them too much. Place them on the cooking grid and let them cook for 5 min. Season them salt and pepper, then turn them over and continue cooking for 5 min. Let them stand for a few minutes before you can enjoy to your heart’s content!

 

Beef With Chimichurri Sauce Recipe

For 4 people

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 piece of 600 g rib-eye of sirloin steak
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1/2 bunch coriander
  • 15 mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 lemon’s squeezed juice
  • 1  teaspoon of sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 3 cl wine vinegar
  • 12 cl olive oil
  • 3 garlic
  • 1 shallot
  • 1  teaspoon crushed pepper
  • Salt and pepper

 

METHOD

Wash the fresh herbs and dry them. Peel the garlic and the shallot. Finely chop and add all the other ingredients. Add salt and pepper. Place the meat in a container or freezer bag. Add 5 tablespoons of the sauce, close the bag and knead the meat. Marinade for 24 hours in your fridge. Place the meat on the barbecue (without flame) and cook for 4 minutes per side. Once the meat is cooked, place it in a container and cover it for 5 to 10 minutes. Cut slices and cover with the remaining sauce.

Barbecue Skewer Marinade

INGREDIENTS

  • Rump Steak: 600g
  • Garlic: 3 cloves
  • Olive Oil: 10 tablespoons
  • Vegetable broth cube: 1
  • Mustard: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt
  • Pepper

In a salad bowl, squeeze the peeled garlic. Add the olive oil and 1 cube of well-crushed vegetable broth. When the mixture is almost consistent, add salt, pepper, mustard. Massage the pieces of beef well with this marinade, and keep in bowl overnight in a fridge for a flavoursome meal the next day.

 

Lemon Marinade For Barbecue Beef

INGREDIENTS

  • Sirloin Steak
  • 2 Lemons         
  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt       
  • Pepper       
  • Pink peppercorn

In a bowl, mix the lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Grate the zest of one of the lemons and add it to the marinade. Add 1 tablespoon of crushed pink peppercorn . Mix the pieces of beef with the marinade, and keep it in bowl overnight in a fridge.

 

Asian-Style Marinade With Lemon, Soy And Ginger

INGREDIENTS

  • Sirloin Steak         
  • 1 lemon         
  • 1 lime         
  • 1 tablespoon of salted soy sauce       
  • 1 garlic clove       
  • Ginger         
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame oil         
  • Nuoc-name sauce

In a bowl, mix the lemon and lime juice with salted soy sauce. Add peeled garlic and 1 cm of very finely chopped fresh ginger. Pour sesame oil and 1 tablespoon of nuoc-mam sauce (optional), mix well. Massage the pieces of beef well with this marinade, and let them rest in the salad bowl as long as possible (at least 30 min, and better still: overnight!).

 

Mexican Marinade

INGREDIENTS

  • Sirloin Steak       
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar        
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil     
  • 2 tablespoons of Mexican spices (Old El Paso mixture for fajitas for example) 
  • 2 limes
  • 1 garlic clove       
  • Salt         
  • Pepper

In a salad bowl, mix the apple cider vinegar, the olive oil, the Mexican spices, the chopped garlic, the limes’ juice, salt and pepper. Massage the pieces of beef well with this marinade, and let them rest in the salad bowl as long as you like to get that flavour going!

 

Caramelising Marinade for Barbecue Beef

INGREDIENTS

  • Soy sauce: ⅓ cup
  • Olive oil: ½ cup
  • Lemon: 1
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Garlic powder
  • Dried basil
  • Dried parsley
  • Ground white pepper
  • Garlic: 2 cloves
  • Hot sauce

In a blender, combine soy sauce,  olive oil, 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice, 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, 1 ½ tablespoon of garlic powder, 3 tablespoon of dried basil, 1 ½ tablespoon of dried parsley, 1 large pinch of ground white pepper,  chopped garlic (optional) and 1/4 tablespoon of hot sauce (optional). Mix to obtain a paste. Massage the pieces of beef well with this marinade, and let them rest in a bowl overnight or for a few hours depending on how much flavour you want!
