While this product has been designed for storing mowers, it also makes handy storage for smaller garden accessories and tools. Made in the UK, using ethically sourced, timber, this store is excellent for those looking for a great quality build with a stylish, contemporary aesthetic.
The walls of this garden building are constructed using premium horizontal interlocking tongue and groove boards. The profile includes a protective and aesthetically pleasing lip to create a strong, weatherproof panel. Complete with thick wooden framing to support the cladding internally, this building offers a rigid and long-lasting structure.
Robust roofing felt, fixtures and fittings are all supplied as standard, alongside our detailed instructions and our manufacturer’s recommendations, to ensure a simple and stress-free assembly process.
All of our buildings come with an Anti-rot guarantee, to ensure your garden building looks great and lasts the test of time, this building in particular comes with a conditional 10-year Anti-rot guarantee as well as a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty. Delivered on time. Off loaded without any involement from me. All parts in good condition. Construction easy for average DIYer. Thanks Mercia and Robert Dyas for a solid mower store at a very good price. Not sure how completely it had been treated so gave it another coat.

Stylish looking mini-shed
I was excited to receive this delivery until I noticed 1 of the doors was damaged and unusable. They were very quick to offer a resolve to this but I'm still waiting for the replacement 10 days later. I found it a real pain removing the bits they had added for protection in transit, some of the nails were too far in to be removed with claw hammer. I followed the instructions & managed to assemble it myself but another gripe I have is the screws that were provided went straight through the wood and poke out quite far in places like the door panels which I find quite dangerous. The felt provided is good quality but mine didn't fit properly unless I cut it up and used in two bits. Then at the end the instructions say that the whole thing must be painted immediately to preserve the wood which I thought I wouldn't have to do for a few months as it says that it's been treated and needs doing yearly not immediately. But despite the few gripes I had the actual building does look nice & stylish. It's very roomy for my lawnmower, spade, brush, camping chairs, loppers etc I can fit lots of bits and bobs in it.

Not as sturdy as I'd hoped.
Bought this a couple of weeks ago and built it on a new base of concrete slabs. I found it a little flimsy. The doors didn't fit so will have to plane the centre edges to get them to close properly. The front, being mainly a huge opening, lacks stability and will probably need some bracing to stop it rocking. The pitch of the roof takes it to over one metre from front to back which means that the supplied felt will not cover in one go. There will have to be some bodging going on at the back edge with more joints than I would like. Good job I've got some felt adhesive leftover from another project to seal it all up. Not a bad product but it has a few niggles.

Badly made with shabby materials
Foolishly I did not read previous reviews before purchasing this item but everything I have now read is true. This is very poorly made with the cheapest offcuts of wood you could imagine, holes everywhere and nails sticking out all over.

Not as advertised.
Having erected my "shiplap" mower store with a few difficulties, I find that despite the description of its construction of "12mm shiplap", it is actually made from 10mm traditional tongue & groove which goes someway to explain its flimsy nature. Tongue & groove is NOT the same as Shiplap. I am more than a little disappointed that this is the case as Mercia products I've bought previously from Robert Dyas have been excellent. For these reasons, I'm afraid I cannot recommend this product and if only I hadn't been so eager to get it constructed, I would be asking for my money back as it is not the product which is being advertised. Kicking myself for not noticing and very disappointed!

Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
